Background

The digitalisation of energy systems creates new opportunities, but also increased risks. Cybersecurity is today a fundamental prerequisite for operational reliability and security of supply in critical infrastructure. This basic course provides a shared introduction to cybersecurity from an energy systems perspective.

  • What cybersecurity means in energy systems
  • Common threats, risks and vulnerabilities
  • Basic concepts within IT and OT security
  • Roles, responsibilities and why cybersecurity is a business-critical issue

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, you will have a basic understanding of cybersecurity in energy systems and a shared vocabulary to participate in further work, dialogue and advanced training.

TARGET GROUP

The course is aimed at professionals within the energy sector who need a basic understanding of cybersecurity, such as technicians, civil servants, managers and other key roles.

PRICE

The course fee is SEK 395 excluding VAT. Members of Glava Energy Center receive a 10 percent discount on the course fee.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

11:00–12:30. Digital online course, approximately 1.5 hours.
