Background
Understanding flexibility markets is important for a wide range of actors – from grid operators who need tools to handle capacity challenges to companies and organizations that want to become flexibility providers and get paid for contributing to a more robust power system. Flexibility markets create both opportunities and responsibilities: they can help grid operators optimize their infrastructure, and they can open new revenue streams for customers and providers.
