Empowering Future Generations – Fu-Gen Energi AB – is a private, independent power producer developing, owning, and operating onshore wind, solar power, and energy storage assets in the Nordic region. The company owns the Takenehöjden Energy Park in Årjäng municipality, a project originally developed by Renewable Sweden and Esmann Energy.
Founded in Switzerland in 2017, Fu-Gen Energi is financed by international pension funds and institutional investors with a long-term investment horizon. In Sweden, the company owns four wind farms with a combined installed capacity of approximately 280 MW, producing electricity in Strömsund, Tanum, Skellefteå, and Ljusdal.
In addition to existing assets, the company is developing projects in energy storage (about 1,847 MW) and solar power (about 760 MW).
