Westra Wermlands Sparbank

Westra Wermlands Sparbank is an independent savings bank with deep roots in western Värmland. With seven branches across the municipalities of Arvika, Eda, and Årjäng, the bank works closely with local residents and businesses and serves as a long-term partner in the region’s development. As a savings bank, it has no shareholders, which means that part of its surplus is reinvested in local projects, associations, and initiatives that strengthen the community.

The bank’s work is grounded in three clear perspectives on sustainability:

Social sustainability: Westra Wermlands Sparbank aims to be a positive force in the community. By supporting local associations and community initiatives, the bank helps make western Värmland a safe, active, and attractive place to live and work.

Economic sustainability: As a local and long-term actor, the bank sees itself as an important driver of regional development. It supports both businesses and households and contributes to stable and sustainable economic growth in the region.

Environmental sustainability: The bank works continuously to reduce its own environmental and climate impact. Its greatest opportunity, however, is to encourage and inspire customers to make smart, environmentally friendly choices that benefit both their finances and the planet.

Branches are located in Arvika, Edane, Charlottenberg, Koppom, Töcksfors, Åmotfors, and Årjäng.
