Elmia Solar 2026 opens up for more innovation and startups

When Elmia Solar returns in February 2026, the fair will further strengthen its role as a hub for knowledge, business development, and future solutions in solar energy. One of the biggest news items is Innovate at Solar – a dedicated area for startups that want to be visible, meet the industry, and showcase their solutions.

– Innovation Hour was one of the highlights at the previous Elmia Solar – interest was high, and the meetings between startups and the industry proved valuable. It’s no bed of roses to be a startup, and that’s why we want to give them even more space at the 2026 fair. We’ll do this both on stage through Innovation Hour and on the exhibition floor at Innovate at Solar, where startups can meet the industry and present their solutions. We’re glad to be doing this together with Elmia Solar, says Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Glava Energy Center.

Focus on innovation, knowledge, and networking

As a partner of the fair, Glava Energy Center coordinates all expressions of interest for Innovate at Solar. The last day to register interest is October 14, 2025. In addition to Innovate at Solar, the concepts KnowHow at Solar and Connect at Solar are also being launched, creating more opportunities for knowledge exchange and networking during the fair.

Elmia Solar 2026

• The solar energy industry’s joint meeting place for actors in solar, solar parks, storage, charging, battery technology, and installations.
• Glava Energy Center is a partner with responsibility for delivering a knowledge-packed program.
