Glava Energy Center partners with Elmia Solar 2025

In February 2025, the second edition of the Elmia Solar industry fair will take place. Glava Energy Center is joining as a fair partner with the mission to contribute to a knowledge-intensive stage program.

– It feels completely natural and right that Glava Energy Center, as an innovation cluster, is now one of our partners for Elmia Solar 2025. Through their participation, including in the stage program, Glava Energy Center will share their extensive experience and deep expertise in innovation and testbed operations. This will enrich the visitors and contribute to the development of a rapidly growing industry, says Elin Rickardsson, business manager at Elmia Solar.

Elmia Solar is the Nordic region's new meeting place for the solar energy industry, but the fair is broader than just solar energy, solar panels, and solar parks. Energy storage, battery technology, electric vehicle charging, installation, assembly, safety, and energy services are other important themes of the fair, attracting exhibitors from across Northern Europe. The visitors represent installers, assemblers, energy companies, property owners, and energy consultants.

Innovation in focus

Glava Energy Center participated as an exhibitor during the first edition of Elmia Solar in February 2024 and is now looking forward to becoming a partner.

– It is very inspiring, and with our presence, we want to contribute alongside other actors to the development of a smart, renewable, and sustainable energy system, says Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Glava Energy Center.

In addition to having an exhibition stand, Glava Energy Center will host several topics in the stage program on the Main Stage as well as a daily "Innovation Hour," where exciting examples of innovative solutions for realizing tomorrow's smart and sustainable energy systems will be highlighted.

– We see great innovative potential in this meeting place for innovators and industry players that Elmia Solar offers. It's like a smorgasbord of diversity, depth, expertise, and ideas. Among our members, there are many startups and innovators, and the fair is an important platform for innovative idea exchange – both for our members and for Glava Energy Center, says Magnus Nilsson.

Inspiring competence development in the industry

In addition to innovation work and testbed activities, Glava Energy Center wants to take the opportunity to inspire industry actors present to engage in competence development.

– The fair will be an opportunity for us to showcase our wide range of courses in solar installation, inspection, planning, and battery storage for the industry’s actors, says Liselott Öberg Stridh, responsible for membership and education at Glava Energy Center.

Elmia Solar 2025

Elmia Solar is the solar energy industry's common meeting place for actors in solar energy, solar parks, storage, charging, battery technology, and installations. The 2025 fair aims to have a stronger international presence. A new partner is the Norwegian Solar Energy Cluster, Norway's counterpart to Swedish Solar Energy – an important partner for Elmia Solar moving forward.

Elmia Solar will take place from February 4–6, 2025, at Elmia in Jönköping.

Innovation and business potential promoted at Elmia Solar

Glava Energy Center and Business Region Värmland will participate as exhibitors at the premiere in February of Elmia Solar, the new Nordic meeting place for the solar energy industry. The purpose is to meet industry players and disseminate knowledge about Värmland's unique potential for innovations, skills development, and business establishments within solar energy and smart, sustainable energy systems.

Our innovation work

Glava Energy Center is an innovation cluster in solar energy and sustainable energy systems. The cluster is founded in a broad, driven, and competent member network of local, regional, and national energy actors, a physical test infrastructure with around ten test beds, Northern Europe's largest test park for solar energy and over ten years of experience in innovation projects.

Courses at Glava Energy Center

The solar energy industry sets records year after year in terms of the number of installations, installed capacity, and electricity production. Glava Energy Center offers a variety of independent training programs to enhance the quality and safety of the industry. Members receive a 10 percent discount on the course fee.
