Glava Energy Center Shares Knowledge on Elmia Solar's Stages
The 2025 edition of Elmia Solar focuses on three themes: energy dilemmas, future energy, and security and competence. Glava Energy Center will be present with a booth and will participate as speakers and lecturers in an information-packed program on various stages throughout the fair. Join us at Elmia Solar in Jönköping from February 4–6, 2025.
Glava Energy Center is a partner of Elmia Solar, tasked with contributing to a knowledge-intensive stage program. On Tuesday, David Olsson, Technical Project Manager at Glava Energy Center, will speak under the theme of future energy.
– As energy demand increases and more electricity is sourced from solar and wind, power grids face growing capacity challenges. At Elmia Solar, I will participate in the stage program to talk about grid flexibility based on a pilot project we are conducting with support from Energiforsk, says David Olsson.
On Wednesday, the LOKEN project will host its own stage program titled: How Can Research Support the Energy Transition in Värmland? Attendees will meet researchers from Karlstad University and discuss how we can all contribute as business owners, electricity producers, consumers, and citizens—not only to the energy transition but also to a good life and sustainable communities. Networking and refreshments will follow the program.
Participants in the LOKEN event
- Dr. Avit Bhowmik, an internationally recognized environmental and climate solutions researcher, has played a key role in several reports and policy documents for Global Climate Action Summits and the UN’s political forums.
- Mikael Johnson, a lecturer in business administration, offers a service research perspective on the complex societal challenges of energy supply, linking innovative business models, collaborative solutions, and increased understanding of flexibility solutions.
On Thursday, Lisa Gärdt, Sustainability Coordinator at Glava Energy Center, will speak on the theme of energy dilemmas. The focus will be on sustainability, innovation, and business development.
– Together with an expert panel from Karlstad University, I aim to inspire visitors on how sustainability efforts can drive innovation and business development, says Lisa Gärdt.
Innovation Hour and Lectures
During all three days of the fair, Glava Energy Center will also host Innovation Hour. This program highlights the rapid and innovative developments within the energy industry.
– Over three hours, we will focus on three particularly interesting innovative areas: smart control, energy storage, and energy communities. I will showcase exciting examples of innovative activities in each of these areas, says Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Glava Energy Center, who will moderate Innovation Hour.
In addition, those working in installation companies are invited to attend two lectures on pressing industry topics: inspections and battery installations. On Wednesday, Jan-Olof Cleve, a trainer from Glava Energy Center, will lecture on thorough inspections that balance the interests of both parties. On Thursday, project manager Isac Myrén Andersson will discuss how to optimize battery performance with smart control.
