Basic installer training is a three-day training that makes you a better installer of solar cell systems in terms of quality, economy and technology. The next course opportunity is February 13-15, 2024. Register today!

You gain competence to carry out the practical work and a theoretical understanding of how you should do it and why. The practical training takes place in Glava Energy Center's solar park, on different types of roofs and with different mounting systems.

Course objectives

The course provides the necessary knowledge to be able to professionally install and assemble solar cells based on a drawing with good function and safe operation. The installation must secure guarantees and meet requirements from insurance companies, electrical safety authorities and fire authorities. After passing the training, a course certificate is obtained from the Glava Energy Center.

Course fee

Course fee SEK 13,100 excluding VAT. Members of Glava Energy Center receive a 10 percent discount on the course fee. Accommodation in the Hillringsberg mansion next to the Glava Energy Center is not included in the price. Norwegian interest in solar installer training in Glava

The ongoing solar energy boom in Norway is shown by a great Norwegian interest in the Glava Energy Center's basic training for solar cell installers. It was full at the year's first training round in Glava in January and most of the registered participants came from Norwegian electrical installation companies.

The solar energy industry is breaking records year after year. This applies to both the number of facilities, installed power and the amount of electricity produced. To ensure continued positive development, Glava Energy Center offers a wide range of impartial trainings to increase the industry's quality and safety.
