Knowledge of flexibility opens new business opportunities

Glava Energy Center is now launching two new training courses on flexibility markets – a digital introduction and an in-depth course held on site in Glava, western Värmland. The courses are aimed at both grid operators and companies that want to understand how flexibility can become part of their business while also contributing to a more sustainable power system. The instructor is Darijan Jelica, flexibility expert and CEO of Flexia Consulting AB, with experience from starting and running several flexibility markets in Sweden.

MSB Maps Fire Risks for Solar Panels

Swedish rescue services need to improve their ability to handle fires in buildings with solar panels. On September 4-5, a reference group from MSB (Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency) was on-site at Glava Energy Center to conduct a large number of rescue scenarios. These tests will serve as the foundation for a new national guide for Sweden’s rescue services.

Knowledge of Inspections Competitive Edge in the Solar Industry

The slowdown in the number of installed solar power systems is creating tougher times in the solar energy industry. This gives companies all the more reason to invest in knowledge about quality and safety, according to Per Hederstedt, course leader at Glava Energy Center. Last week, he conducted an inspection course in the test and solar park at Glava.
