Energy-secure societies are stronger in times of crisis

Extreme weather, cyber threats and bottlenecks in the power grid have turned energy security into an issue that quickly moves from policy documents into everyday life. For Magnus Nilsson, CEO of Glava Energy Center, energy security is about robustness: ensuring that the energy system continues to function even when it is exposed to disruptions. It is also about moving the capacity to act closer to municipalities, businesses and households.

Knowledge of flexibility opens new business opportunities

Glava Energy Center is now launching two new training courses on flexibility markets – a digital introduction and an in-depth course held on site in Glava, western Värmland. The courses are aimed at both grid operators and companies that want to understand how flexibility can become part of their business while also contributing to a more sustainable power system. The instructor is Darijan Jelica, flexibility expert and CEO of Flexia Consulting AB, with experience from starting and running several flexibility markets in Sweden.
