Privacy Policy

Glava Energy Center protects your personal privacy. In this data protection policy, we explain how we collect and use personal data from users of our website.

Personal data is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a (physical) person who is alive. Examples of personal data are:

  • name
  • address
  • social security number
  • phone number
  • electronic identities such as IP addresses and cookies, if they can be linked to a natural person
  • E-mail addresses such as firstname.lastname@company.se.

About the Data Protection Act

The Data Protection Regulation must ensure safe handling of personal data and protect citizens' privacy. According to the law, personal data may only be collected for specific, specifically stated and justified purposes. Only necessary personal data may be collected and the data must be protected so that unauthorized persons do not have access to it and deleted when they are no longer needed.

Why do we collect personal data?

We use your personal information to provide and improve the website and to be able to conduct digital and physical events or trainings with participants and for project reporting regarding participants in project activities. We may also, with your consent, use your personal data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or other information from Glava Energy Center.

When do we collect personal data?

The collection of personal data can take place in different ways. This happens, for example, when you visit our website and when you register via the website or social media channels for our digital and physical events or trainings and digital newsletters.

What information do we collect?

The personal data you provide is usually, for example, name, organizational affiliation, position, e-mail address, telephone number, e-mail address, organizational affiliation, professional role and billing address. Normally, we do not collect information relating to sensitive personal data. However, in connection with certain physical events, we can obtain information about the need to adapt the premises or special diets (when eating is offered). For monitoring and reporting on gender equality at the project level (to what extent publicly funded project activities reach women and men respectively), we may sometimes also need to collect voluntary data on gender.

How do we use cookies and similar technologies?

When you visit our website, we use cookies. Cookies are files with small amounts of data, which may contain an anonymous unique identifier. You will find more information about how we treat cookies in our cookie policy.

How long do we save the data?

We only save personal data for as long as there is a need to save it, i.e. until the purpose for the collection has been fulfilled. In general, information about members/participants is saved for a maximum of 12 months after the member/participant no longer has an ongoing relationship with Glava Energy Center. We may need to save some data for longer in accordance with legal requirements on us as an organization. It is usually about name and organizational affiliation when participating in project activities that are financed by public funds.
